Department of National Governance and Local Community Development
The aim of this department is to reduce poverty at local community levels by timely bringing local community problems to national political leaders considered to have the abilities to work with local communities to quickly address community problems that precipitate local community poverty. The main programs in this department are:
1) ‘Big’ Local Community Problems that need your Urgent Attention Program:
The aim of this program is to reduce local community poverty by consistently undertaking scientific research on local community problems and timely bring ‘big’ local community problems that hinder community and human development to the attention of political leaders at national level and lobby them to quickly address the established problems in order to avoid perpetuating local community sufferings.
2) Fulfill your Campaign Promises Program:
The aim of this programme is to consistently monitor and evaluate promises made by all political leaders (the Republic President, Areas Members of Parliament (MPs), Majors, and Ward Councilors during their political campaign, and remind those that have not fulfilled their promises to fulfill their promises.
3) Developmental Programs Initiated by your Political Leader:
The aim of this program is to undertake scientific research on quarterly basis in all the constituencies and local wards in Zambia and produce national quarterly bulletins on developmental programs initiated by all elected political leaders in their wads and constituencies. This is meant to enable the general public to know political leaders that are reducing poverty in their constituencies and wards and those who are not. It is also aimed at lobbying each political leader to implement developmental programs in their wards and constituencies.
4) Scientific Research on National and Local Governance Verses Local Community Development:
The aim of this program is to consistently undertake scientific research on various national and local governance issues and how they impact on poverty levels at local community level.
5) Consultancy and Training:
We do consultancy work and training in national governance, local governance and local community development issues
